Destination Alcudia Majorca

Alcudia is located on Majorca's north coast around one and a half hours from Palma airport. Alcudia old town is actually about two miles inland from the coast; development has expanded the town considerably over the past 40 years, with a large proportion of hotels and holiday accommodation located near to Alcudia's magnificent bay and beach which is over 8kms long. Alcudia old town is well worth taking some time to visit during your holiday, enclosed by walls and with influences dating back to Roman times, its narrow streets are a great place to explore during the evening.

The coastal resort of Alcudia is one of Majorca's most visited resorts, good for families due to the lovely expanse of sand and clear warm shallow waters. A variety of watersports are available from the beach.

Alcudia by night is a fairly laid back resort, with plenty of good restaurants and bars, but many people tend to make use of the excellent on site facilities that a lot of the hotels offer. There are a small number of night clubs and late night bars for those who wish to party to the early hours, but on the whole Alcudia is fairly quiet and appeals to families.
