Magaluf Majorca

The resort of Magaluf is situated on Majorca's coast around ten miles from the islands capital Palma. Magaluf with its bars and discos tends to appeal to 18-30's who want a good beach during the day and then to party until dawn breaks. As the resort of Magaluf tends to mainly attract British tourists, they are well catered for by English style bars and Pubs, and there are plenty of clubs to dance the night away, so don't expect your holiday to be a quiet one, this is one of the liveliest resorts in Spain.

During the day head for the fine sandy beach at Magaluf, there are plenty of sun beds for rent and if you tire of soaking up the sun a good range of water sports are available from the beach. The long pedestrian only promenade is home to a large range of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. The restaurants cater for all tastes from traditional cuisine to fast food outlets.

Magaluf is a large sprawling resort and differentiating where Magaluf ends and the neighbouring Palma Nova starts is difficult.

During the off peak season between October and April there is a change in character and of the visitors Magluf attracts. During the summer season the streets are packed with 18-30's but off season with the clubs and discos shut the resort attracts a lot of couples.
